If you are in the summer (June – August) then it is hot, and both the fruiting time and the growing time will be relatively fast! Thus, it will take about 12 days after a good rain to go out for golden chanterelles!

However, if you want to harvest golden chanterelles in October, then it is not very important to be interested in the growing time. Indeed, both fruiting and growth will be slower because of the freshness, but above all much more unpredictable! Indeed, at this time of the year, it often rains, there are many thermal shocks and it is therefore complicated to use a climatic event to predict the release of the golden chanterelles. At this time, the chanterelle can take up to 1.5 months to fruit and reach its adult size.
