Without a living tree, it is not possible to obtain porcini mushrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you will never or very rarely see a King Bolete growing on a tree trunk or on the stump of a dead tree. Indeed, the boletus will first associate with the roots of the tree thanks to the mycelium then this mycelium will give a Primordia (a baby mushroom) which will then give Porcini that you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the King Bolete will not associate with just any trees, like the majority of mushrooms, this one will associate with specific trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to know more about the growth of porcini mushrooms, you can consult <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mushroomstalkers.com\/?blogclid=what-trees-do-porcini-grow-under1\">our Mushroom Maps<\/a>. To increase your chances of finding them, we recommend that you look for King Boletes under the following trees: <strong>beech, oak, chestnut.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, other trees can do the trick to find these mushrooms, but if you are a beginner, learn to recognize the trees we have mentioned and look for porcini mushrooms under these trees!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Porcini Mushroom And Conifers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Porcini mushroom can also grows under a large collection of conifer trees.
